Guest Speaker: Alex Russell, PhD, Perspective Psychology, who recently co-authored with Tim Falconer and published the book “Drop the Worry Ball” will address LPCI, Parents, Students and Teachers.

Dr. Russell will offer practical strategies to build teenagers independence, confidence and resilience.

Dr. Russel is a clinical psychologist, registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. He provides assessments and psychotherapy to children and adults, and consultation and supervision to schools, teachers and psychologists. He received his Ph.D. In Clinical Psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York in 1997,  and then completed a two year post-doctorate fellowship at the Hincks Institute in Toronto in 1999. He has also completed clinical placements at the Karen Horney Therapeutic Nursery, St. Vincents Medical Centre, and the Toronto Hospital.
